The Moorpark Marching Musketeers is a hard working group of students that competes on Parade and Field competitions all over Southern California. The Band and Colorguard provide an opportunity for growth and enrichment through very high work ethic. The marching band encourages each student to work toward his/her fullest potential and challenges the members toward maximum possible intellectual and creative growth on and off the field. Membership in an organization such as this, is a remarkable opportunity to both work as a team and gain individual recognition, to experience leadership, follow the leadership of others, and to learn discipline, cooperation and responsibility while at the same time engaging in a creative activity. This activity is a unique way to blend musicianship, visual achievement and excellent show design to create an entertaining show on the field or musical experience on the street.
Past Shows include:
2007 Murderous Incursions
2006 The Music of Earth Wind and Fire
2005 Storyworld (original composition by Scott Director)
2004 The Big Phat Field Show, the music of Gordon Goodwin
