Congratulations to the AM Lab and AM Studio Jazz Ensembles on outstanding performances at Saturday's Westlake Jazz Festival! Both bands won their divisions!!! The Studio Jazz Ensemble beat other schools' top jazz ensembles, while the Lab Band beat other schools' number two and number one bands!!!!

Urgent!!!!  The banquet scheduled for June 6, 2008 at the Moorpark Country Club is in danger of being cancelled.  The banquet is a celebration for our outstanding band and color guard department.  All students are honored, as well as parents and staff.  The banquet typically draws 250 people, including students, parents, and alumni.  The deadline for reservations is this Wednesday.  There are currently less than half the number of people needed to allow this banquet go forward. Please get your reservations and money in today!!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

On the last school day before any performance, a student must attend a minimum of 4 class periods to perform. Students must attend and participate in the final practice prior to a performance.  Additionally, should a student miss a Tuesday night practice, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the weekend's upcoming performances.

All absences from Marching Band must be resolved through the attendance office using the hotline: 805.531.6444. We are only able to put truant, tardy, or present.
